My passion for natural hair started with my own hair journey.  More than 10 years ago, I decided to cut off all of the straight pieces from my hair (leftover relaxed and heat damaged hair). I started making You Tube videos on my hair journey, trying different products and different styles. At that time, there weren't many people with my hair texture making videos, so I gained a following. Once I started getting requested to do hair, I decided to go to cosmetology school.  

This whole time, I was growing my hair out, the pictures in that first block shows this. In school, I got it pressed, got a curly cut, went blonde, shaved the side. HAHA HAD FUN WITH IT. 

Once I was done playing around with it, I big chopped. I always wanted to try short hair but was always too scared. TO THIS DAY, my short hair is my FAVORITE LOOK! I went shorter and shorter. Left it buzzed for a little while. At that point I had 2 babies and the shop, short hair was definetly easier.

When I grew the buzz out, I grew that out as locs, ( I also wanted to try locs for a while, so I tried them). I had it loc'ed for a little over a year. I shaved those off, at this point I knew I wanted my hair back to it's original, long and curly. I shaved it bald to give it a real fresh start.

From then, to now, I buzzed it one last time in August 2022, ( I colored and bleached the previous hair, thinking I wanted to grow it out as a blonde, because I DID LOVE MY BIG BLONDE hair too, but I didn't want to have to deal with THAT much hair maintenance), I wanted to grow it out PURE, NATURAL!! So I got it buzzed one last time. That haircut video is still up on my You Tube channel.  

   I am currently back on my hair growth journey!
